As seen in the photo, I have some floors cut and sitting in the Moggie, awaiting paint and fasteners. I also have my rather tough condition transmission tunnel in for an investigatory fit.

I assume (ahem) it’s supposed to rest against the firewall, but maybe not. It’s about 1/4″ shy of touching it at the moment. You can see lots of creativity has been unleashed on it, or at least some violence. On a positive note, I will be able to fit it a bit more tightly at the front for more footroom between the brake and the accelerator, which will make the car 100% easier to drive.

There is a lot of tedious work to do back here, most of this was done to accommodate the bodged transmission mount, I assume.
