1966 Jaguar E-Type Coupe

To start the new year, and with not much else going on, here’s a set of photos of my long-sold 1966 Coupe. I have the hankering to get one of these again but looking at current prices don’t see how that would happen without a lot of good luck. If you want to trade yours for a nicely restored ’67 MGB GT, just let me know. (I think a ‘winky face’ is supposed to follow that!)

Believe it or not, one of the reasons I sold this car was because the “mouth” was slightly misshapen and I would see it every time I looked at the car. I wish I could figure out what mental disorder I have, because clearly it doesn’t do me any favors!

I remember that house… never met the FHC though. As for the mental disorder, you already know what it is!

You’re better off without it. A misshapen mouth is an omen of other issues lurking, just waiting to manifest.

Wow, is that an x-body skylark in the last picture? :p

Like so many others, I’ve always had a soft spot for the E-Type. Hardly a car buff living that doesn’t regret the one or two they wish they’d kept. However, there’s a few frightpigs I didn’t mind seeing the back of for the final time. Beautiful coupe, though. My Corvette also has a clam shell hood, but it’s just not the same somehow. As for your mental disorder, that’s just old news.

Would really enjoy some driving impressions of the various cars, especially the E types…
